The Sunday after John’s birthday party we drove Annie to the airport. When we got there Margaret was very hungry and she was crying. I said we should stand on line as though we were checking in for a flight. Then we could say to people, “what flight are you on? Wonderful! We’re on the same flight! Maybe we’re sitting near each other!”
The next morning John left for an overnight trip to Perth and my parents arrived. There was much to-do about meeting Margaret and we got some nice photos. While they were here my folks went to Taronga Zoo, Sydney Tower, The Museum of Sydney, and the Botanic Gardens. Since they had more than two weeks they probably got out the same percentage of the time that Ann did but they got to see more sites. Dad and Janet were also here for Thanksgiving. It was just the four of us--I mean five but Margaret didn’t eat very much turkey.
