Hummus
Hummus
3 cups garbanzo beans
3 garlic cloves, peeled
1 1/4 cups tahini paste
1 teaspoon dried cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder (or to taste)
1/3 cup lemon juice
2 tablespoons olive oil
Lemon zest
Pita bread, cut into wedges
Process until smooth. Add garlic, tahini, spices and salt, lemon juice, lemon zest and
olive oil. Reprocess and adjust seasoning.
