Nestle Toll House Cookies
Preheat oven to 375. In a medium bowl combine
2 ¼ c all-purpose flour
1 t baking soda
1 t salt
In a mixer combine
1 c (2 sticks) butter
¾ c granulated sugar
¾ c brown sugar
1 t vanilla extract
Add one at a time
2 eggs
beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in
2 c (12 oz) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Drop in rounded tablespoons into ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 for 9-11 minutes
or until golden brown. Let stand for two minutes and then transfer to wire rack to cool completely.
Pan cookies: prepare as above but put in greased 15" x 10" baking pan. Bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.
